Almost every UK bathroom has one light, in the ceiling, behind your head. It throws every shadow straight down. Under your brows, under your nose, along your jaw. So you fill in what you cannot see, step outside into daylight, catch yourself in a shop window and find a different face looking back.

Three things have to be true.
The light has to come from in front of you, not above. It has to sit at eye level, so it fills shadows instead of casting them. And it has to match the room you are going into, because makeup that reads well under warm light looks grey under daylight.
Our illuminated mirror range includes models with adjustable brightness and colour temperatures, so you can choose light to suit your routine. Features vary by model; each product page lists its lighting settings.

Someone takes it out, plugs it in, cycles its light settings and checks the controls respond. If it does not, it does not ship.
