Your Questions, Answered
How long does the battery really last?
Lumiwick runs for several months on a single USB charge during normal motion-mode use. The energy-efficient design only lights up when movement is detected and it’s dark enough to need it, so the battery goes a long way between charges.
Will the magnetic tape damage my cabinets or walls?
The reusable magnetic tape mounts cleanly to any dry, flat surface without screws or drilling. It holds the light firmly in place and can be repositioned whenever you want to move it.
Is it bright enough to actually see clearly inside a cupboard?
Yes – the dimmable LED panel offers warm, natural or cool light tones at a brightness built to fully illuminate cabinets, closets and hallways, turning a dark space into a clear, safe one instantly.
How wide an area does the motion sensor cover?
The sensor detects movement across a 120° angle and up to 3 metres away, giving wide, reliable coverage for cupboards, hallways, staircases and wardrobes.
Does it turn off quickly so it doesn’t waste power?
Lumiwick automatically turns off after around 20 seconds with no detected movement, keeping energy use to a minimum while always being ready to switch back on instantly.
Which size should I choose, 20cm or 40cm?
The 20 cm size suits smaller cupboards, shelves and tight spaces, while the 40 cm size covers wider cabinets, longer hallway sections and full wardrobe rails for broader light coverage.
Can I use it in a kitchen or bathroom?
Absolutely – Lumiwick is designed to be versatile and works brilliantly under kitchen cabinets, inside bathroom cupboards, closets, bedrooms, staircases and hallways wherever instant light is useful.
